In all these, China and the European Union also want to establish investment, tourism, and economic ties with the Maldives so that China and Europe can get maritime connectivity in the future. In all these, now India’s top renowned companies like Tata, Reliance, and Indian Government funds are now spending Billions of USD on Mauritius, Lakshadweep, and River Cruise instead of Maldives.

Currently, the Indian Government is investing approximately $10 Billion USD in a plan to connect Africa and Asia to Mauritius, Lakshadweep and Mumbai (River Cruise Tourism) which is very good for weekend, economy and tourism.
